Cleshar awarded CEMARS certification

Cleshar has recently achieved CEMARS certification.

Cleshar has been awarded certification to the world class, ISO accredited CEMARS standard by the Achilles carbonReduction programme. Certification to CEMARS demonstrates Cleshar's commitment to measuring, managing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in a robust and credible way.

As part of our sustainability strategy, verification of the company's operational footprint recognises the actions of Cleshar to measure our greenhouse gas emissions understand our carbon liabilities and put in place management plans to reduce emissions in our organisation.

Daniel Jane, Pre-Contracts Director said "This award recognises Cleshar's green credentials and demonstrates leadership in carbon management within our industry".

An example of our commitment to the environment is our support to BOC in developing a light weight hydrogen fuel cell. This working portable hydrogen generator was recently used to power our exhibition at Railtex 2011.
